How They Met:

After arriving at a college Bible study, Maddie found herself sitting next to Jonas. At the time, they’d never met, but God works in crazy ways because little did she know, she was actually sitting next to her future husband! Their relationship has been incredibly intentional – getting to know each other as individuals and learning of each others’ deep faith. Many of those long talks happened at Mill Creek Park, which is why these two ultimately decided they wanted their photos captured there!

The Engagement:

After six and a half months of dating, Jonas knew Maddie was his forever girl. On September 3rd, he picked her up for school and they had lunch together. Having plans to go to a football game at Jonas’s alma mater, he dropped Maddie off to get ready, then snuck away to pick up her ring. Swinging back over to pick her up, Jonas took her to the Cinderella Bridge, got down on one knee, and asked her to be his wife. How stinking sweet?! They now have plans to tie the knot in 2023, and I already know they are going to have such a solid marriage.

The Session:

Fun fact, I’ve actually known Jonas since he was a freshman when we went to the same high school and youth group. He was a few years behind, but everyone knew how much of a sweetheart he was, so when I heard he was engaged, I instantly knew Maddie must be a true gem. Y’all, she really is!! These two were so genuine and kind their entire session time, and we laughed a TON! There’s nothing cuter than a couple that loves each other well, and you can tell in the way they look at each other that they have a foundation so solid that nothing could break them apart. Their relationship is a true reflection of Jesus’ love for us, and I couldn’t be more honored to have gotten to document these two.

Maddie and Jonas, you’re the definition of a match made in heaven, and I am so excited for you both! Thank you for being a light to everyone you’re around and showing God’s love to the world in the way you love each other! You’re amazing! Congratulations!!
