New Year, Magical Start!
It was New Years Eve night and Stasia was attending a party with friends enjoying the evening. One of the guys in the group, Tony, caught her attention and asked for her number, which she happily gave to him. The two had lots of chemistry, and she was really excited! The night didn’t end with a midnight kiss, but it did mark the start of their forever!
Her handsome marine swept her away and they started dating, knowing this was something special. But six months in, they were faced with a big decision because Tony was being deployed. Being apart for at least six months meant they had to decide if this was something worth fighting for or something they needed to come to an end. The two ultimately decided they had to try. Those six months turned to eight, but they both knew this love was worth the distance between them.
Starting Their New Life
When Tony came home, the relationship only blossomed more and their love deepened. This was it! By December of 2020, they decided to move in together, and Tony soon bought a ring. Knowing he would be deployed again soon, he decided to propose on July 4th while his mom was in from out of town. While playing a game of blindfolded Pictionary with both their families, Stasia and opened her eyes to Tony down on one knee. She had no idea! It was an easy yes for her, and they enjoyed their first night of engagement watching the fireworks! How special is that?!
Awaiting his deployment in November, Stasia and Tony decided that they didn’t want to do long distance again without being married, so on October 6, they eloped at Santa Barbara’s courthouse. Stasia wore the same dress in their engagement session as she did for their elopement, making it even more special! Our entire evening with was filled with laughter, gorgeous sunny weather, and the perfect cotton candy sunset at Carlsbad State Beach. Stasia and Tony, we truly adore you and are SO excited to celebrate with you two this coming July for your celebration with family and friends! Cheers to long distance relationships turned to forever together!
