There are weddings that feel like pure magic from the very first moment, and Bailey and Aaron’s day at Hotel Del Monte in Monterey, California was exactly that. Set against the backdrop of historic architecture, blooming gardens, and timeless elegance, their wedding day was filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and a whole lot of love.
Getting Ready at Hotel Del Monte
Bailey began the morning in her suite surrounded by her bridesmaids, her mom, and soon-to-be mother-in-law, all decked out in the cutest matching dusty pink pajama sets, while Bailey wore classic white. 90s and early 2000s throwback hits played in the background as the girls sipped champagne, giggled over memories, and soaked in the excitement. Her sisters — also her maids of honor — along with her mom and mother-in-law-to-be, helped her step into her breathtaking ball gown adorned with tiny beads and crystals, savoring each emotional and joyful moment.
Just across the hall, Aaron and his groomsmen were suiting up in sleek black tuxes. Helping each other straighten bow ties and jackets, the room was filled with camaraderie and energy. His best man, Alec, was by his side, adjusting Aaron’s bow tie, while Aaron’s dad and father-in-law-to-be helped him into his cufflinks and jacket, a quiet nod to the generations of love and support that brought him to this day.
First Looks & the Ceremony
Before the ceremony, the couple opted for a private first look — but not without a twist. Aaron’s best man had a surprise up his sleeve, stepping in first dressed in a white gown to prank the groom. The laughter that followed was unforgettable! Then came the real moment: Bailey walked up behind Aaron, and when he turned around, his reaction said everything. He stepped back in awe, grabbed her hand, and took in her radiant presence, twirling her around as they shared a tearful, joy-filled embrace.
Surrounded by family and friends, we captured portraits that reflected the depth of connection and celebration shared by all. There was a sense of pride, unity, and joy that made every image glow.
As guests gathered in the grand ballroom, with its soaring arched windows and sparkling chandeliers, Aaron waited at the Chuppah. Bailey walked down the aisle arm in arm with her father, radiant as sunlight streamed in. Her father placed her hand in Aaron’s, and her sister gently took her bouquet and fluffed her gown. Looking around the room, everyone there had a smile on their faces. Their vows were deeply personal, a reflection of how their love had changed their lives. After Aaron broke the glass, the room erupted in cheers as they kissed and walked back down the aisle, officially husband and wife.
Wedding Reception in the Ballroom
Golden hour portraits in the gardens gave the newlyweds a quiet moment together before the celebration picked up inside. The reception was a dream: candlelit tables with blush and white florals, elegant music, and heartfelt speeches from the bride’s father, the best man, and Bailey’s two sisters. Each toast offered a unique glimpse into their love story, leaving not a dry eye in the room.
Bailey and Aaron shared their first dance to Annie’s Song by John Denver, surrounded by their loved ones. One of the most touching moments was during the parent dances, when Bailey’s father gently handed her off to Aaron — a gesture so full of meaning and love.
Afterward, Bailey changed into a second dress, and the dance floor came alive. Guests laughed, danced, and celebrated late into the night, even lifting the couple for the Hora to honor Aaron’s family traditions — an unforgettable high-energy highlight!
