This year has been quite a year for weddings, making our “normal” much different, and giving us unexpected curveballs throughout the planning process. But what was so special about this wedding was that for a day, you completely forgot about the world, and things felt magical again!
The Most Magical Couple
Natalina and Ben are HUGE Disney fans! I’m talking bachelorette party and honeymoon both in Disney World (true goals if you ask me), so it was only fitting that these two incorporated something so special to them into their wedding day!
If you’ve ever been to the Disney Parks, you may have heard about the hidden Mickey’s you can find in secret places, and this wedding had lots of hidden Mickey’s (comment down below how many you can find in this post)! Every little touch was so thoughtful from the bouquets, to the earrings, to the cuff links, and I was obsessed with these details.
Getting Ready
But more than the details, Natalina and Ben made everyone feel special on their wedding day. The getting ready suite was filled with beautiful ladies laughing and celebrating their friend all while singing Disney classics. You couldn’t help but sing along! Her eleven bridesmaids were each so special to her, and she made sure to tell them later that evening that she couldn’t have imagined getting married without every one of the girls there. My heart pretty much exploded from the love!
Ben and his guys arrived at the church so full of joy! They were cheering their friend on during the photos, and they made the portraits such a blast. The awesome personalities in this group are unmatched! Ben was so excited to see his bride and to finally get to be her husband. And as she walked down the aisle, you could catch him smiling from ear to ear.
Once these two said, “I do,” after the most beautiful ceremony and family formals, we moved on to portraits both at the Chagrin Falls Waterfall and at Tippecanoe Country Club. The light for sunset was to die for! We caught that golden glow, and it made every photo feel all the more magical – just like Disney! We celebrated and took some extra special pictures of Natalina and her newly engaged twin, Karlina. Their sisterhood is so precious, and K decided to serenade her twin for her maid of honor speech, incorporating Disney’s hit songs.
The Reception
The reception hall was decked out in Disney! Cocktail hour tables had Mickey heads, their guest “book” was a castle, and the cake & cookies were Mickey themed as well. Different characters could been seen on each table number, and music from Disney’s classics filled the room. Natalina brought her own surprise as she had recorded herself singing her father-daughter dance song beforehand, and then sang the other half live. It brought tears to everyone’s eyes, but you could see how memorable it was for her dad. Shortly after, Ben twirled his mama around like a princess as they swept the floor. Huge smiles on both their faces, you could see how special their relationship is.
During dinner, you could spot sweet glances between these two love birds and it’s so evident nothing will ever tear them apart. They are so perfect for one another. But before everyone danced the night away, the bridal party had a little extra surprise planned for the guests. After taking over the dance floor, a song from The Goofy Movie started to play, and they all performed a choreographed dance that made all the guests smile! I love that everyone in the bridal party LOVES Disney as much as this pair does.
For the Couple
When the wedding day was done, my sister and I left feeling like we had made our way to Florida to visit one of our favorite vacation spots, and our hearts were warmed by the love.
Natalina and Ben, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day. You two are so much fun to celebrate, and watching you enjoy life so fearlessly is inspiring! I cannot wait for you two to rock marriage, and I am beyond happy for you. Here’s to magical beginnings!! Congratulations!
