The warm summer breeze in the air, Hayes and I made our way to the Luxurious Mountain Estate in Mammoth Lakes, California to start capturing the guys and girls getting ready. The roads were clear and the overview was absolutely stunning – an absolutely perfect day!
After taking the detail photos, we started grabbing all the little moments with the guys. They played pool, enjoyed some drinks, and got their navy suits on. In the meantime, the girls were finishing up their hair and makeup, getting their robes on, and relaxing while sipping on champagne. The house was filled with excitement! The bridal party made sure that Sam and Trevor didn’t run into each other in the house, saving that special moment for the first look!
The First Look + Photos
Once we arrived at Sierra Star Golf Course which overlooks Mammoth Mountain, we walked to a quiet spot on the course for the soon-to-be newlyweds to see each other for the first time! Trevor turned around to see his bride, the biggest smile on his face, and the two embraced. Their personal vows followed, sharing their promises to care for and protect one another, the golden glow softly illuminating them.
We followed with bridal party and family portraits, their friends and family so excited to celebrate them!
The Ceremony
As the sun slowly lowered, allowing for even more of that golden glow, the guests arrived and were seated in front of the floral arch. In front of it were two symmetrical lines of pine trees that led up to the view of the mountain. Behind it was a small waterfall that led into a pond, a large plank of wood acting as a bridge for the wedding party to make their way up during the ceremony. As the music started, it was as if it all couldn’t get any more magical. Trevor eagerly watched as Sam walked down the aisle with her dad, his eyes watering as her smile met his gaze. Their dear friend officiated the ceremony, and everyone cheered as they made their way back down the aisle as husband and wife!
Cocktail Hour + The Reception
While we finished up their romantics, the guests were escorted to the cocktail hour which was complete with games, drinks, and family photos hung on one of the trees. Everyone was socializing and having the best time! Once seated, each of the couples from the wedding party as well as the parents made their entrances into the reception, the crowds napkins swinging in the air to celebrate. It was a blast! Laughter filled the space during toasts, dinner was absolutely delicious, and almost every guest was out on the dance floor. This crew knew how to celebrate!
Sam & Trevor’s wedding was truly a reflection of how wonderful they both are because their guests were just as lovely. They deserved the perfect day, and boy oh boy, it was exactly that!
