My senior rep team is so so special to me because it is full of bright, kind, and beautiful individuals that I get to work with for the whole year, taking pictures of them several times, and documenting their last year of high school. This darling, Morgan, is part of my 2019 Senior Rep Team, and I was SO excited to have her join!!

May this year has been pretty unpredictable when it comes to weather, but Morgan was super patient so that we could get a perfect day for her first shoot. The photo on the left was the very first picture I took during her session, and is she a natural at this or what?! It is also very important to me that my seniors do not ruin their clothes, so in the photo on the right, Morgan was actually sitting on a trash bag because everything was still a bit of a mess after the rain. I’m sure she was a little confused when I pulled that out of my camera bag – lol!

Sometimes I get a vision in my head during shoots and just HAVE to make it happen, and this picture is a perfect example of one of those moments. Though it took quite a few tries and a bunch of laughs, we finally got this super cute shot of her.

I think I said “I SWEAR this will be adorable, just one more time,” about a thousand times. My sister, Ashley, who assisted on this shoot, was giving her pointers on how to properly whip her hair around without making a funny face. It is honestly quite the challenge, let me tell you.

I was so happy she was willing to keep trying, even if she wasn’t too sure what look I was going for. Totally worth it though, wouldn’t you agree?

More recently, I have been shooting in the middle of the day for some odd reason (any photographers reading this are probably shaking their heads), but Morgan’s photoshoot reminded me why golden hour is the most beautiful time. Just look at the light!! Of course, it helps when your senior is a perfect model. The picture in the middle was taken as we were walking out of Fellows Riverside Gardens, and I couldn’t help but use that sunset.

This last picture is without a doubt my favorite picture of Morgan. It perfectly captures how absolutely stunning she is. From the flowers, to the sun in the back, to her pretty eyes, everything about this picture is incredible. And yellow is 100% her color.

I am super excited to be working with Morgan this year and can’t wait to get to photograph her again!! She is just the sweetest!
