Working with people is one of my favorite things to do, which is why I love my job so much. But on top of the subjects in my pictures, there are also a lot of people behind the scenes that make these shoots happen as smoothly as they do. For this mini shoot with Haley, I collaborated with hairstylist, Anna Duda (instagram: @dudadoeshair), and makeup artist, Olivia Pacheco (instagram: @olivia.marie.makeup), and it was such a blast for all of us!

Before we got to the shoot, we got Haley ready with her makeup and hair, all the while talking about everything under the sun, from school, to boys, and everything else. There was lots of laughing, and her mom chimed in a few times and made us all laugh. Having good conversations before shoots makes it all so much more fun. Olivia came with us for potential touch-ups, and she also made a fabulous assistant for the day.

The location was all Haley’s idea, and she took us to a field in the back of Austintown Township Park, which I didn’t even realize was there! I will be using that spot again for sure, especially during the fall.

This girl has the funniest personality. She started out by saying she was very awkward in pictures, which is clearly untrue because she rocked it!! And not everyone can pull off a straight-faced look the way she does.

I love everything about this picture. It was such a cloudy day, but it turned out so so beautiful. The tones and Haley’s cute smile make it!

I absolutely loved working with all three of these ladies, and I truly hope I get to work with them again in the future. Shoots like this one are exactly why I love my job so much!!
