After welcoming their beautiful daughter, Delaney, a few years ago, Lexi and Andrew are now anticipating the arrival of their son, Luca. This little boy will soon complete their sweet family of four, and they couldn’t be more excited for this new chapter. To celebrate such a meaningful season, we headed out to Mission Trails Regional Park in San Diego for a golden-hour family maternity session.
Marin Family Mission Trails Maternity Session
Our vision for the shoot was to highlight the love, laughter, and natural connection they share as a family. On top of the posed portraits, we really leaned into a candid style that let their personalities shine through. Andrew brought his signature humor, keeping everyone laughing, while Lexi radiated warmth and grace. She looked absolutely stunning—glowing with her baby bump. Little Delaney was a bundle of joy, her giggles and playful spirit adding an extra layer of magic to every moment we captured.
The scenery of Mission Trails couldn’t have been more perfect. The rolling hills stretched behind them, the sun setting beautifully between the mountains and casting a golden glow over the park. Tall grasses swayed in the breeze, and the winding dirt pathways created a soft, neutral backdrop that perfectly matched their timeless outfits. Everything came together to create a serene, natural setting that truly reflected this special season in their lives.
To the Marins
Lexi & Andrew, it is such an honor to document these moments for you as you prepare to welcome baby Luca. This little boy is already so loved, and I know Delaney is going to be the sweetest big sister. Congratulations, you guys! I cannot wait to see your family grow!
