Walking in to Rachel’s bridal suite, Ashley and I were beyond excited to see all the amazing things she had planned all day. Full of class and constant grace, Rachel is one of those brides that I knew would go above and beyond to make her day a dream and make her guests feel as much joy as she was all day. Her bridesmaids were models, I swear, but more than that, they were incredibly kind and the best hype team that every girl needs. It was like walking into a room of long lost friends and the room was full of good vibes all morning!
Once Lauren & Sarah, the sweetest makeup and hair team, were finished glamming the gals, it was time for them all to get dressed and catching the bridesmaids’ reaction to their girl, Rachel, in her dream dress, ready to get married. We covered their eyes, and on the count of three, they all opened their eyes and all you heard were gasps and squeals! Rachel looked like a true princess and as she twirled around in her gown, it felt like a movie scene.
Ashley and I then went out to meet the guys for their photos and Anthony was so excited to see his bride. The day was beautiful and sunny, but not overwhelmingly hot, which was just perfect. The guys were a hoot, and I thoroughly enjoyed trying to get them all to jump on sync for a photo. After a few takes, we got it, and we went into individuals with each groomsmen where each friendship with Anthony shined. The whole time was filled with laughs, and they were so so much fun!
After hiding Anthony away so he wouldn’t catch a glimpse of Rachel, we walked out to get the bride with bridesmaids photos. Again, these girls are STUNNING, and I could not get over their perfect smiles! We grabbed all the fun photos, and the group felt so close, which made for so many extra precious moments. Rachel’s maid of honor and bestie, Kaitlyn, grabbed the golf cart to escort the bride back, and they laughed the whole way back to the ceremony spot!
Next was time for these two to become man and wife, and with mandolin music as the backdrop while Rachel walked down the aisle, Anthony’s eyes teared up when he saw his girl. The vows to each other were so heartfelt and beautifully spoken, showing how dedicated they are to each other and their relationship no matter what life throws at them. They both waited their whole lives to find their other half, and they truly found that in each other.
They got the party started with cocktail hour and we grabbed some bridal party portraits which were hilarious to capture. Everyone was laughing so much and happy to celebrate these two. I couldn’t have asked for a better, more joyful group to spend time with all day! We grabbed the signature drinks for the night (which were super pretty) and some snacks from the elaborate Italian charcuterie board. Seriously, it was delicious!!
The first dances were all precious and smiles went around the room with each one as Rachel twirled around the dance floor with the biggest smile on her face. Anthony’s mom had tears in her eyes for their mother and son dance, and I’ve never seen a more supportive dad during a father daughter dance quite like Rachel’s! Each dance was so amazing.
After dinner (which included THE best lasagna I have ever had), you could catch Rachel’s parents slow dancing together or hop in on the crowd for some fun! The bride was all over the dance floor, white claw in hand, hugging all her guests and enjoying every second of her first moments of marriage.
Every second of the wedding was wonderful, and every person there made you feel like home! I am so honored to have gotten to be a part of such a special day with such an incredible couple, and I cannot wait to grab some margaritas with them in Cleveland soon!
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Tursivio!! You two are going to rock the married life!
