Ohio weather these past six months has been crazy unpredictable! No snow in December, and fall was delayed for quite a while, just like it was for Ashley’s session in early October. The trees had barely started changing, but I can always work some magic with the leaves if that is the look you are going for.

Crazy thing about Ashley’s family is that her cousin, Monica, was my babysitter when I was just a little baby! I can remember playing with her and going to her graduation party when I was just a kid, so we were able to connect in a way we didn’t realize. The world really is super small.

Ashley’s session started at the Poland Library, which always looks amazing no matter what time of year. The white building, the bridge, and the creek always make such a pretty backdrop.

I think this outfit was my favorite, which is hard considering she looked adorable in everything she threw on. She also has this super sweet smile to match her personality.

We then went to her softball field to capture her love for the sport. The field right next to it is where I played soccer growing up, so I was going through memories like crazy for this session!

Can we also take a second to admire her gorgeous eyes in that picture on the right?! I mean, woah!!

We ended Ashley’s session at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, and fun fact: it was DARK when we got there. The end of the day was a little cloudy, which made the sunset go by very quickly. But you’d never know with just a few editing tricks!

I also totally miss this fountain, since it has been closed for a while for winter.

I had such a great time getting to know Ashley and her mom during her session, and getting to talk about her family and childhood growing up. It is always super cool to get to know entire families!!
