I am the type of person that hates the cold, but loves when the trees change color, and Alexandra’s session took place right in that perfect in between of summer and fall. And when it comes to Ohio weather, you really never do know what you’re going to get!

Alexandra Gay is a senior from Austintown High School, and she was such a darling during her shoot. We started at Fellows Riverside Gardens and took some pictures in her super cute floral top and wedges. The photo on the right is one of my favorites because that view is just gorgeous!

Lucky for us, the gardens were not super packed, which makes my job a lot easier. The walkway in this photo is one of the most busy places, and of course, one of my favorite places to shoot here. I was very happy that there was no worry of anyone getting stepped on!!

After the Rose Gardens, we moved to other sections of Mill Creek including the Princess Bridge and the famous waterfall which is right next to Pioneer Pavilion.

I take a lot of photos in Mill Creek for both seniors and couples, but Alexandra was my first senior this year to take them at the bridge, and she was tall enough to easily be able to climb up!

Her family also loves the Steelers, so it was only appropriate for her to bring a jersey with them for her shoot.

These two photos are absolutely gorgeous, and my two favorites without a doubt. If you ever go to this waterfall, it is important to note that there are two ways to get to it, one that is much safer and straight forward at the bottom of the hill, and one all the way at the top that is a little risky. We did not know of the safer route at first, which means we walked all the way down this extremely narrow and steep pathway – lol. But, we made it safe and sound, helping each other the entire way. I also give Alexandra lots of credit for being able to walk around the bottom of this waterfall in HEELS. She did awesome. I love adventurous seniors like this who are willing to go full out for a photo, and this girl is the most perfect example.

Good luck in college, girl! I hope I get to work with you again!
