When it comes to godly relationships, trust in God can get you through anything, even 200 days apart.
Michele & Chris met on Catholic Match in November of last year and started their long distance relationship from Ohio to Ontario, Canada. After a few FaceTime calls, Chris took a trip up to the Windsor Art Gallery to meet her. In December, Chris got to show her his hometown and again shared their love of art at The Butler Institute of American Art. From then on, they started taking turns to drive and see each other.
In March, the borders between the U.S. and Canada shut down because of Corona Virus. Unable to see each other, their relationship went virtual, but Chris knew this was the woman God had planned for him all along. He knew he didn’t want to spend any longer without her, so on July 6th, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. She said yes!!
After 200 days apart, Michele was able to come back to the U.S. for her engagement session and prepare for their wedding coming up next month! It was so sweet seeing this new reunion, and their eyes were joy-filled.
These two are such a beautiful testament of God’s faithfulness no matter what goes on in our world, and I am so excited to cheer them both on as they enter into marriage. Congratulations, Michele & Chris! Your relationship serves as a true example!!
