As this is also a new beginning for me, it seems only fitting that my first photography blog post is all about the amazing wedding day of Laura Beck and Jeremy Herzog.

Being a part of their day in general is such a blessing, and something I have been waiting for since the day they got engaged, but I also got the incredible honor of capturing the day that will start the rest of their lives together as husband and wife. From start to finish, this day could not have been more of a blast for everyone who was a part of it!

Laura’s wedding dress was simple, yet so elegant. With an embellished crystal belt around the waist and a sweetheart neckline, it perfectly captured the beauty and grace that makes up her personality. Blush, burgundy, and white made up the colors on her special day and truly made it stand out.

These two nieces of the bride, and both flower girls, made everyone’s hearts happy as they ran around and played with each other. From chasing each other to playing with their Aunts, these two could not have been more precious.

Taking those first few steps out of the dressing room all ready…

…and if you couldn’t tell by her bridesmaids’ reactions, she couldn’t have looked more stunning.

Capturing this little moment of the bride’s parents was priceless since they never saw me take this picture. He still looks at her like she is the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen.

After years of dating and waiting to see Laura walk down the aisle to meet him, Jeremy could not have been happier to finally see his bride.

Their very first kiss as husband & wife.

But let’s just talk about this wedding party!

These beautiful gals and dashing guys made the entire day a blast – constantly making everyone laugh, including myself, and making every second of the day more and more exciting. It may have taken a few hundreds shots to get them all looking at the camera at the same time between giggles, but it was totally worth it to have genuinely happy smiles on everyone’s faces!

Behind the scenes quote from Laura before Jeremy dipped her: “You sure you want to do this? …Uh…Hold on. I need to make sure you won’t drop me.”

No worries, no brides were hurt in the making of that picture!

Laura’s sister and maid of honor, Andrea, stepped in to make sure everything from her dress in this picture to making sure the bridal party got everywhere in one piece on her special day was perfect.

If you drove through Canfield on Saturday, you might have seen a large group on the green acting a little silly, but it was one of the best parts of the shoot if you ask me. Laura’s ring was gorgeous, and so was that cake (which Jeremy abruptly shoved into the Mrs.’s mouth). With a night full of dancing, great food, and more cookies than an army could possibly eat, this wedding day was a major success!

Wishing these two incredible human beings a lifetime of happiness together! I can’t wait to see what life brings them next!
