If you know anything about me, you know I love farm animals. I’m talking absolutely obsessed. If you ever need to find me at the Canfield Fair, I can almost guarantee I’ll be by the barn. My favorites are cows, but horses are a very close second! They truly have a piece of my heart.
Imagine my happiness level when I hear I get to combine a senior session (one of my other loves) and horses. Needless to say, I was counting down the days until Kallie’s session from the second her mama gave me a call.
When we arrived at Cornerstone Farm to meet Kallie and her mom, my day was made as we were greeted by a bunch of little pups. Kallie showed me all of her gorgeous outfits and perfectly planned out jewelry and we headed in the back to meet her horse, Phoebe! I loved that this horse was not just beautiful, but she had a mind of her own. Patience is a must when it comes to animals, and I did not mind one bit. Plus it looked like heaven on earth with that golden hour glow!
Kallie did her own hair and makeup for her pictures, and she did the most gorgeous job. She inspired me to get cute earrings like hers! Her bubbly personality meshed with mine so well, and we had such a blast running around the little farm. I always enjoy meeting seniors who are not only sweet, but feel like a friend right from the get-go!
Kallie’s session was one of those special ones that you wish you could do over and over again because it was that beautiful, and I really hope I get to work with this sweet girl in the future (and I wouldn’t mine if Phoebe came along with her)!!
