Tucked in the mountains of Ramona, California, Jasmine and Nate were getting ready to take their next step together at Mount Woodsen Castle. The birds were chirping and the weather was comfortably warm and sunny. Whimsical florals were being carefully placed around the venue to achieve the garden look Jasmine had been envisioning. It was all coming together so perfectly!
Getting Ready
In the bridal suite, Jasmine was joined by her mom, sister, and future mother-in-law. Her dress cascaded down the archway, kissing the floor with its lace train. Her shoes with ruffled bows completed her romantic look alongside her cathedral-length veil. Her mom helped her zip up her dress while he sister assisted with the heels. It was so calm and joyous!
Over in the groom’s suite, the guys were enjoying an easy morning as well. Nate with his father, brother, and soon-to-be in-laws got their jackets on and cheered to the beautiful day that lay ahead. The black tux and bow tie made for a classic look for the groom.
The First Looks & Ceremony
It was very important that Jasmine have a special moment with her dad, so we set aside time to have a father-daughter first look. Tears filled his eyes as he turned around to see his little girl all grown up, and they shared a sweet embrace before she prepared to see her fiancĂ© for their first look. Both filled with nerves, they decided that a simple walk up to one another would be less nerve-wracking and more natural. Jasmine made her way around the corner of the building to be in few of Nate, and he couldn’t believe how beautiful she looked! He twirled her around, taking in the gown she’d spoken of but had been a visual mystery. They were a vision together!
When the time came to watch his bride walk down the aisle, Nate’s eyes filled with tears. This was the moment they’d been waiting for since high school (Read their sweetheart love story HERE). Arm and arm with her father, they met at the altar with the most beautiful blush, white, and peach floral arch. The sun softly diffused through the trees and the mountain behind them, they made their vows to one another, exchanged rings, and shared their very first kiss as a married couple. During their recessional, Jasmine held her bouquet in the air and Nate shared high fives with friends before dipping his new wife as the guests cheered! What a sweet moment!
Reception
Following portraits and some private time during cocktail hour, it was time to celebrate the new Mr. & Mrs. Erlick! Their reception was filled with traditional events such as parent dances and speeches from several family members who shared their love for the couple. But beyond that, these two had a surprise for their guests! They snuck out of the party to meet up with a mariachi and mojigangas before parading in with music and dancing. The guests had so much fun dancing among the traditional dancer and large puppets! It was such a wonderful tribute to Jasmine’s Mexican culture, and brought so much life to the reception. As music played, J&N danced under market lights with all the people they love most, celebrating years of love and lifetime of happiness!
