One of the biggest concerns for brides on their wedding day is their skin. How can I get clear skin? Will my makeup stay on? How do I get my skin’s texture even? As a bride myself this past June, I understand your concerns and I hear you! I felt the same way preparing for my big day. Good skin is a huge worry for many brides! Luckily, I am here to help and provide you with the best information to improve your skin whether you are a bride or bridesmaid!
I’m Rachel Smith, owner of Rachel’s Spa Services. I’m a licensed esthetician and a graduate of Casal Aveda Institute! I went to school due to my love for makeup! Not long after starting school I fell in love with everything spa! The thought of being able to make people feel relaxed, de-stressed and happy was an incredible feeling! I feel blessed to be able to make a positive impact in people’s lives. I love that Rachel’s Spa Services can be a place to relax and escape from the stress of the day.
As a licensed esthetician at my new business, Rachel’s Spa Services, I am happy to help you with my 5 skincare tips for your wedding day:
1. Don’t try any new skincare products right before your wedding! Once you have your skincare routine down don’t change it right before the wedding because you might have a reaction to a product and we don’t want that for your big day!
2. Make sure you are moisturizing your skin! That will make your makeup go on smoother and overall give you a nice glow for your wedding day!
3. I would suggest for brides to start getting monthly facials from an esthetician! That not only will help you relax but it will help you get any skin issues treated ahead of time. Try to start getting them after you get engaged that way by the time your wedding day gets here your skin is looking perfect!
4. Nail down your skin care routine before the wedding. This way when the big day comes you know what to be putting on the night before and the day of. (You can always ask your esthetician what you should be using)
5. The week of the wedding book a facial and massage! The facial will leave your skin feeling good and ready for photos and it’s always good to get a massage to relax the body to try to prevent any stress breakouts!
Following just these top five tips will leave your skin in the best condition before your wedding day, boosting your confidence when you look in the mirror!
