The coolest sessions are the ones where my senior shows me their personality and their passions, and Ariel had that covered! From rustic locations to elegant dresses to softball field, we covered all the bases for her session (excuse that horrible pun).

Our first stop for Ariel’s session was Fellows Riverside Gardens, and the dress she chose for this location could not have gone with it better! Ariel is also such a lady, which I kept complimenting her on. She was so ladylike and graceful from her walk to how she sat. She just knew how to pose with class, and that was such a a plus the entire session.

Ariel did her own makeup for her shoot, which I also loved! Her pretty eyeshadow really shines in this picture. Not to mention her gorgeous brown eyes and kind smile! For this picture she took us to an old abandoned building near her house in Mineral Ridge, and it was super neat walking around it. I love new locations with old history, so I was super pumped that she has this idea!

Sports pictures are fun for me because they are not my usual poses. They challenge me to get creative and work with props and scenery that I am not used to. Ariel’s pictures taken at her home field at her high school turned out super cool, and golden hour was upon us for these ones! The one in the middle is without a doubt one of my favorites from her session. I also give her lots of credit for wearing jeans because it was scorching hot outside, and I was boiling in shorts!!

After every session, I always have a favorite that I pick, which may or may not be the senior’s favorite, but during Ariel’s ordering session, she told me how much she loved this photo which just made my day. She said she felt so beautiful in it, and hearing things like that is the best part of my job. I completely agree with her. She is just glowing with how lovely she looks in this photo, and the backdrop only emphasizes that.

I had such a pleasure working with Ariel and her family for her photos, and I hope I get to work with them again!!
